MIC Conference & Tradeshow 2016

MIC conferenceThe 16th annual MIC Conference and Tradeshow is coming on March 17th to the Colorado Convention Center for another year of top-notch education, great collaboration & unprecedented networking. In case not familiar with the Meeting Industry Council of Colorado (MIC), here is a brief background:  it encompasses 13 Meeting Planner Organizations (see full list @ http://www.mic-colorado.org/MIC-Membership.html) that all relate to the hospitality industry. There are no membership fees to join, quite simply if you’re a member of one of the meeting planner organizations, then you’re a member of MIC!

MIC 3The MIC Conference actually begins on the 16th with a Planner Only Education Program presented by Michael Dominguez, Senior Vice President, Global Hotel Sales MGM Resort and Shawna Suckow, CMP, Veteran Planner, Speaker, Founder & Chairwoman – SPIN.

MIC 2Both speakers are highly regarded in the industry and it should be a grand kick-off to the one of the most anticipated days in the Rocky Mountain meeting planner community. After the sessions end, we’ll transition into an intimate networking opportunity with planners, MIC council members, sponsors and exhibitors from 5:30 pm– 7:30 pm (hosted by Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center).

MIC 1One speaker who is sure to be a highlight during the MIC Conference will be the Keynote Speaker John O’Leary who, at a young age, was tragically burned on 100% of his body. Now that tragedy and near death experience has inspired him to travel around the world speaking about how to truly LIVE in life!

The Tradeshow, which sells out every year, opens early and continues throughout the day. You’ll have multiple chances to walk through and visit all the vendor booths.  There is so much to see and learn so make it a point to set aside some time to enjoy!
